1.KDF

KDF is a high-purity copper-zinc alloy, a new type of water filtration medium invented by Dr. Don Heskett in 1984 in the United States. The principle of water purification is based on redox reactions, where the KDF medium exchanges electrons with pollutants, transforming many contaminants into harmless substances. KDF particles are particularly effective in removing chlorine and water-soluble heavy metals from water. They can effectively remove chlorine, organic compounds, heavy metals, and prevent the formation of carcinogenic substances like trihalomethanes, making the water safe and potable.
KDF material has a strong reactivity and extremely fast reaction speed in water, capable of eliminating up to 99% of chlorine and dissolved metals such as lead, mercury, nickel, and chromium ions and compounds. It is also highly effective in inhibiting the growth of bacteria, fungi, algae, and scale. It is used in pretreatment, primary treatment, and wastewater treatment equipment. KDF can enhance or replace existing technologies, significantly extending system life, reducing heavy metals, microorganisms, and scale, lowering overall costs, and simplifying system maintenance—hence it is known as “water gold.”

2. Amino acid scale inhibitor
